GRASP” is a celebration of diverse and plural bodies, creating a massive flesh poetry human organism. It is a substantial collective experience to support the community to find a way to survive the tough times we are living in socially, politically, and culturally. Drawing inspiration from the Brazilian “Antropofagia” movement, “GRASP” embraces the idea of cultural cannibalism—absorbing, digesting, and transforming diverse influences into a new, collective body of work.

Welcome to create an artpiece in the Vibrating Stage at Asema44. You can experiment with installation, video, dance, theatre, performance art, and, if you wish, prepare a performance/demo/event. You can apply for any timeslot between 1.8.-30.9.2025. The stage is free of charge, and applications are open to both professionals and amateurs.

On Friday, July 18th, Ilosaarirock will be taken over by Punainen Serenadi, where the Turtle Queen, Näkki and Bouffon will meet on stage for the first time. A unique burst of carnivalesque and surprising performing art is promised. Behind the characters are Pokka members Lindon Shimizu, Veera Snellman and Kaisa Mari Männikkö
